What an incredible weekend for Nerium House Kennel! We just wrapped up an intensive dog handling seminar at Ring Star Club Dresaj Canin in Bucharest, and we’ve got a few new tricks up our sleeves (and they aren’t just for the dogs)!
We had the absolute privilege of learning from the best—the world-renowned Olka Tibay, a professional handler since 2011, with a certified RKF Junior Handling judge certification. She also specialises in dog fitness and aquatic training.
Here’s a glimpse into what we learnt during this 1-2 November 2025 session:
- Stacking: Fine-tuning free stacks and hand stacks.
- Movement: Mastering the right movements to showcase our dogs’ reach and drive.
- Motivation: Keeping our dogs engaged and happy in the ring.
- The “Olka Touch”: Learning how to highlight a dog’s best attributes through gentle, yet expert handling.
