PET BOARDING

Due to growing demand from our puppies’ owners, we also provide pet boarding services whilst owners are away on holiday or if they are temporarily unable to take care of their dog for whatever other personal or family reasons.

All dogs coming into our home are treated with the same love, care and respect as our own dogs, and they will enjoy a very agreeable experience with lots of fun, indoor and outdoor play, and learning sessions! They will interact with us and, on a case-by-case basis (depending on the socialisation skills, play style, size, age etc), with the other dogs in our kennel.

We would welcome your furry friend into our home, but before getting in touch with us please make sure that your dog complies with the following requirements:
We only accept dogs who are at least 5-months old
All vaccinations and deworming should be up to date as per the health certificate of your dog issued by an official veterinarian. We reserve the right to refuse boarding a dog that is not properly vaccinated and dewormed

We are happy to accommodate dogs who are on a raw/BARF or other special diet (e.g. sensitive skin and stomach etc)

basics of dog show training

In case you are an owner willing to explore the challenges and beauty of dog shows, we are here for you! We can assist with basic dog show training. Please be aware that showing a dog requires discipline and the use of positive reinforcement techniques, therefore any beginner dog should master essential commands, have already been socialised to other people and other animals and, even more importantly, should be able to walk on a leash/lead calmly, ignoring any distractions surrounding them. They should already be comfortable with a stranger examining them, since judges will physically examine a dog, touching the body and opening their mouth to inspect the dogs’ bite and teeth according to the breed standard. Judges will also want to see the movement, therefore the dog must be able to gait, moving around the ring or up and back on the diagonal mat. Stacking is another important part of the judging process, therefore a dog should learn how to stand still and to hold this position (to pose) in the ring for a longer time until the breed judge finishes the evaluation.

With more than 9 years of experience in showing our dogs and having attended more than 130 dog shows throughout Europe (including the World Dog Show/WDS and European Dog Show/EDS), we are best placed to provide you with much needed tips & tricks when showing your dog for the first time.

We will walk you through everything from how the dog show works to judges’ expectations and what you should do when anything or everything goes wrong at a dog show.

assessment of hunting skills

If you own a hunting dog and are interested in an assessment of your dog’s natural instincts in a controlled environment, look no more!

Based on our hunting experience and knowledge of training our own gundogs, we can determine the potential of your dog that in combination with other attributes, such as physical ability and endurance, are likely to make a great hunting dog. We will test your dog’s natural inclination to find, flush and retrieve and will present you with a set of recommendations as regards future hunting training options.

Please bear in mind that if a dog doesn’t have a strong natural instinct, it is difficult to make them a good hunting dog, no matter what breed it is.
