About Us

Nerium House Kennel FCI (Romania) was founded by Alina and Bogdan Pintică, two passionate dog breeders, dog lovers and dog owners of Rövidszőrű Magyar Vizsla and Deutsch Kurzhaar since 2015.
Our dogs are the sweetest family companions, but they are also active hunters, and international champions at various FCI dog shows held throughout Europe.
As a matter of fact, we always show our breeding dogs at various conformation events, as well as test their hunting/working skills during the relevant breed exams.
Our puppies are a reflection of our commitment to quality and responsible breeding of purebred dogs with the appearance, temperament, and abilities that are true to their breed standard and with the very best genetic material possible.
We will place our puppies with the owner/ family where we feel that they have the best chance of success and the optimal environment to thrive. Any dog is a 12-15 year commitment of love and resources for the puppy buyer, and we would therefore do our best to match you with the dog who we believe will be the best for your family.
OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY
People have frequently asked us about our breeding vision and what differentiates us from other breeders. While we obviously share the same love for animals with other breeders, we thought it might be useful to put together a list of what we are and what we will never become.
Throughout the years, we have encountered some amazing breeders whose vision and passion have inspired us, but we’ve also been hugely disappointed by some breeding practices and we truly believe there is room for improvement and that breeding and rearing are sometimes more than just about love and passion. Sometimes it is all about NOT making ANY compromises.
What we do
- Perform health screening and genetic screening and never compromise on health
- Rear puppies with great care and personal involvement and are mindful of the Puppy Culture principles
- Always offer puppies the best possible environment to thrive
- Never separate puppies from their mom while still weaning
- Provide owners with full details and information about the puppy that they buy, the parents and their full medical history and medical records
- Provide owners with written guidance about raising a puppy
- Providing strict warranties and never let a puppy go without a signed contract
- Offer guidance and support throughout the lifetime of a puppy/dog
- Always available to discuss about the options as regards taking back a puppy if the owners are no longer up to taking care of a dog
- Always treat owners with due respect, sympathy and understanding
- Always explain our intentions to you in a clear and transparent manner
- Always ready to help and train the puppies for show and hunting/field trial
- Always respect and value your privacy and intimacy (this means that we will never ask you to show us evidence of how much money you make)
- If a matter exceeds our area of expertise, we will always refer you to a vet or another specialist, as the case may be
What we never do
- Never treat you with disrespect and never bully you
- Never impose excessive contractual clauses (penalties, etc)
- Never impose you to show our puppies, even though we would be thrilled if you did
- Never impose you to go hunting with our puppies, even though we would be thrilled if you did
- Never say “no” to visits to meet us and our puppies
- Never bargain or haggle: we know the value of our work. Planning healthy litters takes care, sacrifice, and money. We never underestimate the value of our work and will never overestimate it either, and this is why we expect to receive the same amount of respect and trust from future potential owners
